Social Media

Social Media is a term that is scary for most businesses.  Many have a perception that social media and blogging is where controversy takes place and most businesses aren’t too excited about jumping into controversy.  While that perception is not true, I understand where it comes from.  The social media and blogs that received attention were involved in controversy at some level, typically in political debates.  This should be looked at as the power of social media and blogging, not as the use of the social media and blogging. Many people have misconceptions of what a Blog is.  Some think it is page on the internet where people rant about politics or about someone else.  Those do exist, but that is only small sampling of what blogging can do.
